Instead, you received me as you would an angel from heaven; you received me as you would Christ Jesus.

Galatians 4 : 14

Our Ministers

Thank You, Lord, for the blessing You have given us through the person You have appointed here to be our help and guide. You called him to serve You in full-time ministry and he came willingly. He has studied and read and sought You in prayer for the role You desire him to take. You guide him day by day and inspire him when he sits before You to put together a sermon to bring to the people of this church. Continue to guide and help him in the role You have placed him that he may be a delight to You and a blessing to the people he has under his loving care. Bless him greatly, Lord!

Lord, You have established Your church in this place, and we thank You for Your help and guidance day by day. You have gathered many people here, people who love You and are willing to serve You, and we thank You for each one. Bless all the activities that are available and for each one who takes part to be blessed in every way. We thank You for the building You have supplied, and the ability to maintain it in good condition. Bless this Your church Lord, we pray.

Church Leaders

Thank You for the men and women who stand as leaders amongst us Lord. You have selected and chosen each one for a specific purpose, and encourage them in the role they have taken on. All that they do is guided to extend the church and to bring Your Word to as many as possible. We thank You for each one who leads and spends time and effort to ensure the smooth running of all that they are involved in. Bless all who lead in any position, Lord, we pray!

South Africa

Thank You Lord for the joy that fills our land and people over the victory that our sports team achieved. We give You thanks and praise for the honour that the members of our Rugby team gave to You. We look to You as our Lord and our God, who guides our lives and helps us in diverse ways. Praise the Lord for taking care of South Africa. May we always honour Him in all our living and activities. God, bless all our people across our land, and guide us on the paths that You desire us to take. We belong to You, O Lord!

The Needy

There are many Lord, who are facing trials and difficulty. We pray that Your touch of help and healing will meet the ones we name before You now. You know their needs, Lord, and we place those we know and love in Your loving arms. Thank You Lord, for Your loving care for us all.

Monday 11th November               Ephesians 3: 14 - 21

The Love of Christ!Christ wants to come and live in our hearts. As we invite Him in, He is ready to show us just how much He loves us and wants us to be like Him. His faithfulness to God, our Father, His prayer life, which led Him early each morning to seek God; His loving and caring nature. All these traits He wants to develop in our lives as we seek Christ, to know Him and to make Him known to others. He will take our willing hearts and mould us into children of God. Thus we will be empowered by Him to go out each day and spread loving kindness to all we meet. Christ fills our hearts with so much love that it bubbles over and enables us to share Him with many others. To know Christ is to love Him and to want others to know Him and believe in Him too. Let us constantly seek to grow our relationship with our Lord and Saviour. We are bonded to Jesus through the love God pours into our hearts,

Tuesday 12th November                 Habakkuk 2: 4

Knowledge of God’s Glory!God has given a promise to the people of the earth. He tells us that the earth will be as full of the knowledge of God’s Glory as the seas are full of water. We cannot fathom the enormity of this promise. We stand on land and look out over the oceans and have no inkling just how much water there could possibly be there. Consider this – God created the earth and the seas, in all its magnificence. Can we comprehend the wonder of God’s Glory? We cannot look upon the face of God. No one has! He is Almighty and only when we leave this earthly life will we be able to be in His presence and gaze upon His Glorious face. God comes to us and enables us to know Him by the Holy Spirit stirring in our hearts and souls. We worship our Almighty God and through His Son Jesus we know of His loving kindness and generous care. Truly we have a loving Father, full of Glory and Might. Praise His Holy Name!

Wednesday 13th November          Exodus 14: 14

God will fight for you!Day by day we face issues that can cause fear in our hearts. But we have One in whom we can place our trust, who will fight for us. He tells us that we don’t need to do anything for He will undertake for us, and fight for us when we have to face difficult situations. God is ever alert and watchful and has the ability to see everything that is happening. Put your trust in our Lord and let Him comfort your fears. He will enable you to come through any difficulty. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, so we can face each day with confidence. Put your trust in the Creator of the Universe. He always has our best interest in His heart. Give thanks for His protection and loving care. Praise God for His power and might. He cares for us. Raise Him high and worship Him. He is Lord of all. Hallelujah

Thursday 14th November             John 15: 1 - 17

Bear fruit!Without pruning neither the fig tree nor the grape-vine will bear fruit. If left to grow in its own, with no tending, then the fruit will not achieve the quality that the pruned tree does. We too cannot be left alone to grow as we feel like. We have to be helped and guided in life to reach our potential. Jesus is fully aware of this, that is why He tells us that wrongful habits need to be cut out of our lives, and that our focus must be set on Him. He will show us what we can do and also what we should not do. As we heed the instructions He gives to us we grow in our relationship with Him and learn what is acceptable and what is not. May God prune all the dead wood from our lives so that we can produce good fruit for the Lord. Allow the Lord to remove all that does not bear good fruit for the Kingdom.

Friday 15th November         Psalm 12: 1 - 8

Promise!  Have you ever felt the intense disappointment when someone you trusted failed to keep the promise they made to you? We feel so let-down by our friend or family member, just like a child who has looked forward to an outing, only to be disappointed when it has been cancelled. But we have One who always keeps His promises. V6 says, “The promises of the Lord can be trusted. They are genuine as silver, refined seven times in the furnace.” Turn to the Lord in your disappointment. Cry out to Him. Pray to Him and let His peace flow through you bringing comfort to your unhappy soul. God can be trusted, when man fails you. God can restore peace in your heart. Let God comfort you. Put your trust in the One who will never let you down. Thanks be to our faithful God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Saturday 16th November            John 17: 24

A gift from God!   Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so! Our Lord longs for our presence with Him. He wants us to be with Him where He is, and for us to see His Glory. This is truly a gift that we can cherish for all time. Jesus wants us to succeed in our life of faith and trust in Him, so that one day we will be with Him where He is. We have this promise that at the end of our lives here on earth we will begin the greatest adventure ever. We will be in paradise. We will walk with our Father in the Garden, in the cool of evening, seeing Him face to face, and talking to Him. Jesus’ love for us has assured us of our place in heaven, a place of such beauty that we can enjoy forever. Through Jesus our lives are assured. We have been given a gift of great price. We will see our Lord and our God face to face and be with them forever, Praise God for His plan for our lives eternally!

Sunday 17th November

Lord, there is none like You – so High and Holy and full of loving kindness. We come Lord, to praise and worship at Your feet. You are our Lord and our God and we want no other. You help and guide us day by day, urging us to remain faithful to You and to love as You desire. We belong to You O Lord, and want to please You in all our activities. May we bring honour and glory to Your Name, as we gather together to worship and praise You. You are our Lord and our God and there is no other we would worship. Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord. Blessed Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, we worship and honour You. There is no greater joy than to serve You with heart, soul mind and strength. Blessed is our Lord and our God and the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
