Grand gardens

Home garden feature Transform your dream of having a Garden of Eden into a reality on a budget!

Your home garden is your pride and joy and it’s usually the first thing that people see when they enter your premises. However, garden accessories can have a hefty price tag. So here are a couple of items to consider that won’t break the bank:

Home garden ornaments

If you are on a tight budget but still want to upgrade your home garden décor, then small garden ornaments are the way to go. Instead of the usual gnomes or mushrooms that many people have in their gardens; why not invest in cute bugs such as worms and lady bugs or animals like hedgehogs or tortoises? They will give your garden a laid back look, and an inviting and homey feel.

Other cool small ornament pieces include little old boots or fantasy ‘in the woods’ type doors and homes! These are original and adorable. They will fit perfectly into any home design and are inexpensive. You can place them in your flower beds, on top of pebbles or stones or under a tree on the grass!

Home garden furniture

Another great and cheap way to improve your garden would be to add wooden chairs or benches under a big tree or on some gravel. Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon when you want to sit and relax in the sun and take in your garden’s aromas. A swing chair is also an incredible investment-which you can also make DIY style or even a home-made hammock! These are awesome ways to upgrade your garden at a fraction of the cost.

Home garden water features

If your budget is a bit more flexible and will allow it, water features are the perfect addition to your garden! They are the focal point, attract birds and other wildlife and the sound of the water will bring serenity and calmness into your home.

There are plug n play water features which you can simply place on a level surface, fill with water, plug into a standard household plug point and away it goes. There are a variety colours with gloss or textured finishes to choose from too. They have the lowest maintenance requirements and have safety features built into it. Most water features also come with accessories such as LED lights, jets and pumps to ensure that yours is unique and complimentary to your taste and home design.
